GoCompletions®

Managing the delivery of a safe operational facility.

The GoCompletions® process includes a Completions Manual, Functional Systemisation, Mnemonics, Procedures, Certificates, a Handover Process, a database and Training.

The database is a dual web-based application that offers two options, either an ITR option for Greenfield Projects (GoCCMS), where detailed records by tagged item are required, or a Certificate option for Brownfield modifications and shutdowns, (GoC) where minimum certification is required.

GoCompletions® ensures that Projects achieve start-up on schedule and gives QA/QC compliance by managing the delivery of a safe and operational facility, including the definition and recording of Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Inspection, Test, Punch Listing, Work prioritising and system availability.

The GoC and the GoCCMS perform similar functions in slightly different ways. Both can be used to build, complete, test and commission Projects but using different levels of certification.

GoC employs a minimum Certification philosophy which is ideal for modifications, shutdowns, TAR’s and maintenance operations as opposed to the GoCCMS approach which is to break down the Project into each individual tagged item and monitor the status of installation, connection and testing.

This latter method is favoured by Major Projects, EPC Contractors and fabricators since it offers a more controlled way of being able to progress and cost each component part or piece of equipment. One of the main reasons for NOT choosing the standard GoC for Major Projects is that it operates at too high a level, the reason for this being that GoC Certificates effectively ‘roll-up’ the detail from the lower-level Inspection and Test Procedures supported by the respective discipline Certificates.

Benefits

  • The database is fully web based and features simultaneous access from multiple locations for many users over any intranet connection.
  • Can be used stand alone if required.
  • No requirement for local installation.
  • No requirement for special software.
  • Uses leading edge web technology.
  • Centralised Application & Database Servers.
  • Is user friendly and easy to learn.
  • Retrieves records quickly.
  • Holds Punchlists, Engineering Queries, Design Changes and Vendor Data-Can be remotely accessed by the support group giving online helpdesk assistance.
  • Is easily modified to suit custom requirements.
  • GoC database is of course compatible with our own GoCCMS database which uses standard Inspection and Test Records. The advantage here is that configuration has already been done and the full system is already in compliance with the GoC Process.
